Our Story:

Stillness in the Foothills

Every great tea begins with a sense of place. For us, that place is where the crisp air of the Rocky Mountains meets the ancient, meditative traditions of the Korean peninsula.

What started as a personal passion for the art of tea has evolved into a private sanctuary. We believe that the best way to experience the depth of a traditional brew is in an environment that reflects its origin: quiet, focused, and deeply connected to nature.

Our Philosophy

In a world that rarely stops moving, we offer a place to pause. Our tea service is not just about the drink; it is about the ritual of preparation and the beauty of the moment. We source meticulously crafted tea leaves and respect the time-honored methods of Korean tea culture to ensure every pour is an experience in mindfulness.

A Private Invitation

Unlike a traditional café, our teahouse is a private residence nestled within the foothills. This allows us to provide:

  • An Intimate Setting: A quiet, personal atmosphere away from the noise of the city.

  • Authentic Ceremony: Traditional brewing techniques that honor the history of the leaf.

  • Breathtaking Views: A backdrop of mountain beauty that complements the serenity of the tea.

They say that some things are best left to the scholars, but I’ve always believed that the most profound traditions should belong to everyone. For years, I’ve immersed myself in the deep, sometimes dense history of Korean tea culture—a world full of complex philosophy and ancient rituals that can feel like a foreign language even to those who love it.

That is why I created this podcast. I wanted to take the 'hard' parts of my study and translate them into something we can all understand and enjoy. Think of this as your guide to the Language of Korean Tea.

Note on Craft: To ensure these complex traditional concepts are shared as clearly and warmly as possible, I have used AI as a creative partner to help refine and polish the message of this podcast.
